  • 1. Do you sell patio blinds?

    Yes, we have roller shades for patio doors (1 or 2 per door depending on the width of your patio door), verticals for patio doors, panel track drapery for patio doors, dual shades and zebra blinds, honeycomb shades, cellular shades, sheer shades, wood shutters, shutters and more. Almost any window covering shade, blind or shutter can be adapted or inside patio door privacy and light controls. All come with decorative valances, when needed.   • 2. Can you put plantation shutters on a bay window?

    Yes, window shutters offer a very polished, sophisticated look for angled shaped windows. Shutter framing is available in a variety of shapes to accommodate any window depth, angles and curvature.   • 3. Do you have window coverings for bay and bow windows?

    Yes, we have many window treatment products to choose from for bay windows and bow windows. Ideally we direct customers to window covering options that will present a clean, seamless look and keep the characteristics of the angle shaped window. We have mini blinds, verticals, 2" faux wood blinds, roller shades, dual shades/zebra blinds, shutters, roman shades, honeycomb shades, pleated shades, TriLight shades and sheer shades/wood shutters to choose from.   • 4. Do you sell automated blinds?

    Yes, we sell blinds, shades and now even shutters with motorization options. You can have up to 16 channel remotes or wireless control panels.

  • 5. Do you sell commercial blinds?

    Yes, we sell commercial window covering solutions as well. All product are indoor air quality tested for no emissions into the workplace along with microban and antibacterial.

  • 6. How is the 25 year shutter warranty handled?

    On the week of your installation you will receive a link with details required to complete an online registration program for your shutters. This warranty is through the manufacturer although Milton Blinds will handle and coordinate any arrangements necessary.

  • 7. Do you sell exterior shutters for homes?

    No, not at this time. All of our window covering treatments are for interior use only. The window covering solutions we currently have are supplied by Delta, Maxxmar, Shadeomatic and more and consist of mini blinds, 2" faux wood blinds, verticals, panel tracks, shutters (plantation shutters and California shutters), vinyl shutters, wood shutters, solar screen roller shades, designer roller shades, dual shades, zebra blinds, sheer shades, vienna blinds, roman shades, honeycomb shades, cellular shades and pleated shades.

  • 8. Are there blinds you can see out but people cannot see in?

    Yes! There are micro scree roller shades that give you privacy however you are still able to see out. This roller shade fabric collection comes in a variety of weaves and colors to choose from. Also available in a range of openness factors 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 10% and more.

  • 9. Are in home consultations free?

    In home consultations are complimentary for a certain geographical area. If outside this area in home consultations are still available for a small fee. Pricing is available via email any time and at no charge.

  • 10. How far do you service?

    Our current clients have taken us as far north as Barrie/Kleinburg/Vaughan and as far west as Scarborough/Newmarket and as far east as Waterloo/Kitchener/Guelph and as far south as Burlington/Hamilton/Grimsby. Being mobile we can truly service any area.

  • 11. What brands do you carry?

    We shop around diligently every year to ensure we are bringing our customers the best quality products at the most competitive price points. We currently offer Delta, Eclipse Shutters and Shadeomatic products.

  • 12. Store Front vs. Mobile Service?

    We strongly feel that the shop at home service allows us to narrow down your window covering product solution options so you are not overwhelmed with the variety. Not all blinds, shades, shutters are feasible for every window. This eliminates getting quotes on products which you may conclude to not even be options before the check measurement appointment.

  • 13. Is there a store front?

    In 2013 Milton Blinds turned into a shop at home service so we could guide customers to the right window covering solutions based on their home décor, lifestyle needs, window operations and placement. We know this allows for the best customer service and most accurate quoting process. This also makes for an efficient and smooth installation service as we have already been on site and able to make all customization during production.

  • 14. What is your turn around time?

    Milton Blinds is on average a 3 week turnaround time. Sometimes this may be closer to 2 weeks and rarely a little longer. This includes all mini blinds, verticals, 2" faux wood blinds, zebra blinds, roller shades, panel tracks, roman shades, wood shutters, sheer shades, shadomagic, trilight honeycomb shades, cellular shades, Eclipse Shutters, Delta Shutters, and more. Installers work Monday- Saturday to ensure a convenient day and time for our customers.

  • 15. How long have you been in business?

    Since 2006 we have been proudly servicing the Milton and surrounding areas.

  • 16. How to measure for door blinds?

    Door blinds, shades and shutters can be either installed as an inside mount or outside mount product. We provide FREE measuring services however if measuring to send us dimensions for a quote measure the largest width and height of the window opening, outside the frame for an outside mounted window covering and inside the trim for an inside mounted product. If you do not have any depth to your window opening then it will automatically be an outside mount.
