Servicing the Milton and surrounding area since 2006 we pride ourselves on answering all your window covering questions. We can answer your questions during a complimentary in-home consultation or via our online inquiry options through our website or email address [email protected]. We have decided to compile a list of commonly asked customer questions to post on our website blog page.

1. How long will it take until my window coverings are installed?
Our installation turnaround time can range from approximately 2-4 weeks. There are many factors that affect installation times such as the type of product you order, your location and the quantity of window coverings.
We can discuss estimated installation dates once you pick your product and advise of the earliest installation date. Our install team works 6 days a week so there are many options available.

2. Are in-home consultation free?
YES!! Our in-home consults are completely free within a 30 min radius of Milton, ON. We offer free check measurement (surcharge for high or angle shaped windows), product consultation along with a free quote on-site when available. If you are ready to move forward during your complimentary in-home consult, paperwork and deposit can be collected during that time or your quote will be sent to you for you to review via email.

If you live outside of our 30min radius there will be a trip charge (dependent on location) that will be refunded in full when placing your order.

Milton Blinds offers day and evening appointments Monday – Thursday and appointments during the day Friday.

3. What areas do you service?
We service the entire GTA and surrounding areas. Locations that we frequently visit are Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Georgetown, Acton, Brampton, Rockwood, Mississauga, Toronto, Waterdown, Hamilton, Guelph, and Cambridge.

4. What brands do you carry?
Milton Blinds carries many brands to service all types of budgets and clientele. We proudly offer blinds, shades, shutters from:

5. Can we come to your showroom?
Milton Blinds is a mobile service that brings our many products to you. Within the comfort of your home or commercial space, we can discuss and suggest products that will best suit all the different goals you are trying to achieve with your window coverings. We find a shop at home service is most convenient for our customers and most beneficial when making recommendations.

6. What are the benefits of motorization?
There are many practical reasons someone might choose to include motorization on blinds and shutters:

• Ease of moving blinds
• Programing to move blinds all at once
• Day and time programing to maximize energy efficiency
• Ability to adjust blinds remotely
• Temperature programming to ensure your room never gets too hot or cold

7. I am a commercial client – can I receive a quote?
Milton Blinds has been helping commercial clients with their window coverings for over 10yrs and has many options available to finish your workplace space.

8. Do I have to purchase an additional warranty?
At Milton Blinds, we strive to make purchasing window coverings as stress-free and easy as possible. We want to keep our costs simple and straightforward. Therefore, we only carry products that include manufacturing warranties. You can purchase from Milton Blinds knowing that you will be covered from any manufacturer defects.

9. Who do I contact if I have a problem with my new window coverings?
If at any time you have a question about your product or concerns about how it is operating, you would contact Milton Blinds. We will collect all the information necessary to determine if the situation requires some minor troubleshooting or if a service call is required.

We will request and arrange all aspects of the service call at your convenience.
